Lloyd, Eaton County Prosecuting Attorney, announced today that James Andrew Nelson, age 53, of Eaton Rapids, was found guilty by an Eaton County Circuit Court Jury of 10 counts relating to the August 7, 2023, assault and unlawful imprisonment of three minor girls in Brookfield Township.

Charlotte woman sentenced for embezzling money from youth football program
CHARLOTTE, Mich. (WILX) - A woman from Charlotte learned her sentence on Thursday after she was convicted of embezzling funds from a youth football program. Erica Jones will serve a minimum of nine months in an Eaton County Jail. She has also been ordered to pay back $30,000 in restitution as part of her 36-month probation term.
